There was some speculation last night that this Bale bid is just a ruse to force Madrid into signing him, thus giving Manure a clear run at Ronaldo. One thing for sure, David Gill's absence is like they've handed over the reigns to a gang of rabid monkeys.

The funniest scenario is them signing Jelavic and believing they have a top striker, which they will do. That's a reality I would say. What would be even funnier, but highly unlikely, is if they sign Leon Osman. We would have an entire season of piss taking with that.
