There was some spanish dude on the radio this morning who said that there were a number of deals that are hanging in the balance like a game of kelplunk. Will all probably kick off when Real Madrid make a proper bid for Bale. This would signal a Ronaldo shitstorm. Rags will have to flog Rooney, Nani and Anderson to buy back Ronaldo. Real Madrid would use some of that money to buy Suarez. Arsenal and Chelsea are both after Higuain and Rooney. Fellani has a clause in his contract that makes him cheaper mid August. Nobody will make a bid for him until then, so he will start the season with Everton. If the Fabregas deal doesn't come off, the wait for Fellani will be the longest wait of Moyes career coz all the rags will be hopping mad, adding more pressure onto the ugly fooker.

I thought it wad the other way round with Fellaini - his release clause expires in August so it would get more expensive in Aug?

So united bid 30m plus add ons (which we dont even know what they are) for a 40m pound player. SKY say that the player would move if barca accepted, no one else is muting that the player wants to move or indeed has any intention of it, it very much smacks of press briefing to me and this is just like when apparently thiago was nailed on best young player in the world going to be an absolute legend for them blah blah blah.

We are just so indoctrinated by the press that we automatically assume that if a player signs for united he quite clearly is the best player in the world. Fabregas is indeed a good player whether he would be quite the difference maker everyone seems to think im not so sure, certainly he would improve united as a team but im not so sure he would make that much of a difference, ferguson was very much the man at getting much more than the sum of its parts from a team allied to muelensteen who was a very innovative coach and thats where the true power was from, moyes just doesnt have that aura and if fabregas wants to play at united with phil jones, carrick , cleverly etc rather than barca with xavi, iniesta, busquets, in a world cup year then more fool him.

Also i dont buy this why bid if they havent recieved some encouragement, they were told yesterday that he was untransferrable, do you think they are going to go so high that barca will say well we have no choice but to let him go this is barcelona not a team in the championship who need the money.

No, but I wouldn't rule them out if Utd do manage to get a bid accepted. Seems unlikely that Barca would accept a bid or that Fabregas would agitate to go.
