Fabregas

I'm enjoying this. They look fucking stupid. It's fucking Groundhog Day with 5 million extra each time. At what point do they think, you know what, maybe he's not for sale? I reckon 40 million and another kick in the balls.

What I find odd about this is the idea that a starting bid of £25m, followed by a second bid of £30m, would ever be adequate.

In this market, for a player of Cesc's huge talent, proven track record, age and contract situation (i.e. still with many years to run), the starting bid should have been £35m, with the aim of doing a deal at £40 - 45m. Anything less is just insulting time wasting.

Odd. Seems a bit amateur but perhaps there's more to this than meets the eye.

Did we conduct that through the media?

Not quite but there was a big song and dance routine in the Italian press and it ended in a predictable outcome.

I thought Moyes stated that when a buying club were told no ny the selling club that they should abide by that.

After all the sanctimonious crap he came out with when we bought Lescott would be great for a major national newspaper to find all his quotes and to question his principles now see this article
Don't hold your breath, mate.
