Maybe, just maybe, the speedy medical treatment he received has been the major factor in turning around something that could have been catastrophic.

Yep, full credit to the medical staff. 99.9% of the time they attend the football matches week in week out and hardly anything ever happens. Then something happens and they only have a short time to act. I remember watching Seville vs Getafe and saw Antonio Puerta have a heart attack, obviosuly I can't say for certain but I'm damn sure it was because of quick actions that meant he was able to get up and walk to the dressing room. Unfortunatly he then had another attack in the dressing room and died in hospital.

They regularly have to deal with broken limbs and serious injuries in all sports
The police come and go but the medical staff are essential.

No, fair point about being early days but having been checking the bbc website on my phone expecting to see the worst for the past 24 hours I stand by my amazing comment!
