Fabrice Muamba

Great news.

Things look so much better than the other evening, i very much doubt he will ever play football again but he has his life and as long as he makes a 100% recovery i dont think there is anything better than that.

Thats very true - one thing MVF never got. Plus due to insurance and contract issues his family never got another penny from football until charity matches etc were done sometime later.

The MVF family was hit far harder in more ways thani can ever imagine.

The sad reality is 'some' fans will somehow give him shit at a game one day when he scores a goal or the works.
He surely won't be playing professional football again, so I don't think that will be an issue. Although yes, unfortunately, some people are proper twats.

There is no chance he will play football again, insurance will put paid to that. He will get a large sum of money as his career as a footballer is over but in the grand scheme of things im sure he wont give a shit he cant play as his little boy and fiance still have him around

I dont see why everyone is assuming that he cant play again. While its very less, there is a chance that he makes a full recovery in a few years and makes his comeback, he is still young.

Had a brief conversation with Owen Coyle today. Fantastic news. Just wish the media would leave him and his family out of the spotlight now

Knowing he clearly has a heart defect, there no chance in hell he will ever play again. He certainly won't be insured to play anyway.

Agreed, unfortunately for the lad no chance will he play any pro level again. The health restrictions are to tight for that kind of condition.
No insurer would ever touch such a case, ever.

I am sure though being alive to maybe just kick a ball in the back garden with his son will be a blessing.
He sounds like a smart chap who has enough about him to move on from this and good luck to him.

good news
can't see he will ever play again but that's the least of his worries after that
fingers crossed for him
