Fabrice Muamba

Hopefully he has enough money to get him through the next few years, you would think he would though... Start a new life, I know his isn't out of the woods but I'm really happy with the progress. I thought it wasn't going to turn out very nicely... Very nice seeing all the support from players and fans alike, football is beautiful.

Got a smile on my face after reading his first words were about his son, followed by asking his dad if Bolton lost the game. Hope he continues his fantastic recovery, to make things even better it appears the student who posted the Twitter comments is going to be thrown out of his university (hopefully into a prison cell)!

-- Wed Mar 21, 2012 9:19 am --

On a side note it's great to see this connection between footballers. Sure we all know they say it's like a community however I thought the handshakes in the tunnels pre-game were just like the 'hi mate' you give to someone you went to school with when you see them passing in the street however it really does appear to be more than that. Just fascinating really.

Absolutely fabulous news and keep up the recovery Fabrice.

Interview of the doctor that ran onto the pitch to help save him:

The NHS is truly wonderful and I agree.

It really comes home to you that when this kind of situation arises rivals cease to be!..the score doesn't matter and we thank god for the dedicated individuals whoose sole purpose is to save lives... I'm hoping ( as we all are) , that Fabrice is through the worst and that he can make a speedy recovery.
Most of all I'd like to pay tribute to the guys and girls who do this day in and day out....not one of knows when we'll need their help ...you'e all stars!!! Thank you so much for your dedication!
