Face It, You Would Love Moyes as CITY Manager

He's not big enough for us. That probably sounds arrogant/delusional considering we haven't finished higher than Everton for a fair while, but think about the bigger picture....Everton will never have players even of the profile and stature of Adebayor and Tevez and Robinho....let alone some of the names we've been linked with over the past 18 months who could so easily have ended up here.

He wouldn't command respect from star names. That was partly Hughes' problem too, IMO. Mancini is different because although he isn't 'top tier' manager he still has Serie A titles and Coppa Italias to his name and more of a glamour factor that's a hangover from his playing career, to boot.

Now, first and foremost, i hate Moyes with a passion, because he is manager of those scum twats in dipperland. he is enough to get on anyone's nerves and a bit of a twat in all fairness. But i would bite your hand off if you offered Moyes coming to us as manager, and you would be daft if you didnt. i hated bellamy and adebayor before they came to us, but now i love them. moyes is a fantastic manager, who has worked wonders with a very average team at most, yes they have some good players in arteta, pienaar and a few others but in all seriousness its an OK team. He has done fantastically well with them, getting them to 4th and in and around the top 4 in the last 4 years or so, which is a great achievement. now i'm certainly not saying that i like him at all, but i am saying that if mancini were to get sacked(doubtful), if i were garry cook i would pay whatever it takes to get him into the job

Think this "mancityscot" guy might actually be David Moyes bigging himself up!

Never heard so much shite in my life. Wouldn't want him or his ale-house-style football anywhere near Eastlands. Remember we are trying to go forward not back.

And you say about how he has built a team that didn't really cost him anything. Seem to remember Mark Hughes did the same at Blackburn and look where he got us because he didn't know how to spend money wisely.

Let Bobby Manc or whoever is manager next season spend some of the Arabs well-earned cash and build a quality side.

DAVID MOYES DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH!!!!!

LOL, love this thread, BAck-fired somewhat on mancityscot.

We're the richest club in the world and he thinks Moyes should be our number 1 target? Do me a favour!

that just proves how little you know

He's a very good manager but I'd rather have a very good manager who isn't an insufferable twat - and they do exist. Arguably we've already got one.

I think that CoMS and Carrington wouldn't be big enough for both of them!

But Moyes was right about one thing in his prog notes in January - EFC and MCFC did have a lot in common, and while some BlueDippers have said as much as good luck with the money(!) some, including Moyes are lime green with base jealousy.

I also think that many EFC fans and MCFC fans shared a common outlook in football terms but, sadly, it seems to be rearranging itself and we are on opposite sides of the fence. I blame Moyes entirely - his siege mentality, us-against-the-world, the weight of the world's shit on our shoulders, renders a very insular outlook. (Never would have happened with Catterick!) The Lescott saga, which I think Moyes buggered completely, simply added the blue touch paper. I wouldn't be taken aback that there were a few club 'surprises' next time we have a fixture at Goodison.

The relationship needs some calm and reflection. I fear that Moyes possesses neither quality.

wouldnt have him manage the burger stands outside.cant stand the knob.anyone that rates phil neville can never manage us.

Tevez, bellers, lescott and now gollum, are we trying to be
the ugliest team in the land.Keep gollum far far away
from middle earth.

Keep mancini the man got style and passion.

Thanks or your concern, Tevezblue. That was a great help. We know you are a rag. Rises is a decent blue responding to a decent Evertonian. You, on the other hand are transparently and pathetically a green and yellow-bellied WUM.

Your ignorance is only surpassed by your stupidity.

Not a chance. Good manager who's done well with Everton but he's an arrogant smug tw*t and i'd never be happy with him managing us
