All the CF/striker negotiations seem to have an interconnectedness about them. Like a property chain.

Ibrahimovic/Falcao/Cavani/Lewandowski/Higuain/Dzeko/Gomez and others will probably all fall into place within the next 15/20 days on the completion of the respective season in each league.

Whatever happens, the sooner Pellegrini gets here, the better. Our preparation for the 13/14 season - and the pre-season tour - will be of paramount importance as we seek to successfully integrate new players.

I'm hoping that deals, as yet unannounced, have been sealed with players arriving on or around 1/7 as opposed to the shambolic arrivals - Redknapp style - of four players arriving for medicals in pitch darkness at some clinic or other at 8pm on transfer deadline day like last August.

Chelsea are supposedly in for Rooney so I can't see them buying Rooney and Cavani considering they are also getting Lukaku back from loan as well

Although it doesn't mean anything as of yet, like AC Milan said it will come to who bids more Us or Chelsea. And we all know how Roman does his business..I'll be gutted if he goes to them.

If Chelsea are finalising a deal as we speak with Cavani mean while Tixiki is down in Monaco and trying to get rid of Tevez and Dezko i'll be outraged.
