Fan Behaviour

I was behind this and it was sickening to see the aftermath, really puts me off going to city aways again. Heard other stories of violence from yesterday as well

What's going on? I have been going to aways on and off for the past ten years and never seen anything like that
Massive difference between footy 5 years ago and now - cocaine

The ACTUAL reason why the Spurs banner was pulled down at the end was because a lad and his son who ran onto the pitch at the end were being escorted out when the stewards decided to become very heavy handed with the lad right in front of his son. They threw him to the ground and jumped on him right in front of his son. City fans were moving the banner so that they could see what was going on and attempt to record it all

It drives me mad when the person in front stands on their chair. Obviously don't care when it's a kid, but it's usually a lad in his early 20s who's about 6ft2 and can see fine.

If you're over 14 and stand on a chair I hope you stand in chewing gum at the next game.
I’m with you on this - maybe also give them a Paddington Bear style “hard stare” too

Brilliant - your deluded argument holds no water so you seize on a typo. It’s boring old fuddy duddies like you and the shrinking violet OP - “oooh heard other stories of violence too” who have largely ruined our away day atmospheres.

Let me spell it out for you sensitive types - random acts of senseless violence happen all day every day, it’s a savage garden out there. But individual acts of thuggery by dirt balls are nothing to do with the general scene of young men having a laugh with their mates and singing nasty songs and swearing and doing drugs - that’s just what happy testosterone filled young men do - remember ????
Nobody's ever called me a sensitive type, but most people draw the line at biting another person's nose.

I’ve never been bullied or intimidated by a blue. Can’t recall a single instance in nearly 40 hrs other than heated arguments about the footy. How did you cope on the kippax with people swearing and spitting and pissing and singing mean songs ….. oooh it must’ve been awful.

Get a fuckin grip on yourself man
40 hours?

Cast your minds back to Wembley 2013.

Blue on Blue all over the place mainly because people didn't want to have to stand up to see past pissed up meatheads. The worst example of 'in-house' fighting I've seen in years at City.

Drink, drugs and a blatant disregard for others has been on the increase for years, and not just at football.

Football fans reflect our increasingly hedonistic selfish society.
