West Ham supporters stayed till the end recently after getting thrashed at ours. Yet they sang till the end, despite many of them not getting home until daft o clock.That is how we(collectively) used to be. Some have conveniently forgot that or were never there when we had a real reason to leave early. The attitude of some of our apathetic, couldn't give a fuck so called supporters is fucking embarrassing at times.

This myth that fans never used to leave early is complete bollocks, the ground was empty at Maine Road on 90 minutes.

Do fans leave early? Yes - FA Cup semi 2011 - 35,000 left the Rags end in 2.4 mins flat.

Bull !! Have never and will never leave before the final whistle and you used to get people coming in when they opened the gates about 10 minutes before the end.

Strange how there isn't any traffic dodgers on derby day. Is the traffic management different then?

Near every match I get shitty comments walking up the steps on around 88 mins,

Don't deserve to be blue,
Plastic supporter,
Part time supporter,
Embarasing etc

However I sit in 111, my gf is in 117,
I have to walk the entire circle to get to her and help her up the steps as she's 32 weeks pregnant,
I'm always there at the final whistle to applaud players just in a different place!

Hope you ignore the sad lonely bastards!!

To be honest I just smile at them as I walk up,
Even now after battering a team they still find it more important to bemoan our own fans!

Besides I don't care, she sits on the front row of 117, so last Saturday I got to close up abuse solskjaer and call him a wanker :)

I was happy when I left on 90 on Saturday. I would have been a little less happy had I stayed and watched that careless sloppy goal we conceeded.

You're just not a big blue and you've caused people to be embarrassed. Do you realise people have seen all the goals this season.

I have this to say
1. The boys at the mo are working hard to entertain us, just out of respect for this show them the decency of staying till the end. Imagine if they left the pitch 10mins early!
2. I like getting my money's worth, tickets these days are not cheap (seperate conversation). If you buy a season ticket and leave 10 minutes before the end of every match correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that 2 games you've diddled yourself out of effectively!
3. Times for matches are published well in advance make the proper arrangements to watch the full show you wouldn't leave the cinema early!
4. It is very distracting and annoying haveing to move for droves of fans who can't be arsed for "various reasons"

Maybe we should have zones, if you have traveled 100 miles your in the East Stand 200 miles your in the Colin Bell stand and the rest can be the walkers to the ground, problem solved. I made the effort to travel as normal to the semi and sat with empty seats around me of local fans not arsed to attend.

i leave 2-3 mins early every game and will continue too until they can sort the road traffic issues out around the ground.

the last time i chose to stay to the end, i was nearly lynched by city fans for apparently pulling out into the road in front of them

if you haven't got the time to commit fully then pick another hobby and leave your seat for a proper fan.

if we are 2-0 3-0 4-0 up v most teams i will leave early for the 1 and only fact of beating traffic, ive NEVER had grief of anyone about our ground looking empty 5 mins before final whistle or heard TV/Papers slagging us off for it, if you think I'm sitting in traffic for an extra hr so i can clap a grown man getting paid 1000s for playing football or stop someone ive never met getting a joke txt off a rag mate im sorry you got the wrong man.
funny how people say its happening more now and it can effect the team to see empty seats but its now the team are doing the best they ever have, i strongly feel they couldnt give a flying fuck if i stay til the end

I've never really understood the "beating the traffic" argument because in my experience, getting out of The Etihad is a lot easier than the majority of other grounds, even with leaving at the end and just strolling back to the car. Unless everyone else just parks in a really shit location, I don't see how there's so much to gain by leaving early (purely focusing on the traffic argument). But that's just me.
