I have to say as an arsenal fan Im proud of my team tonight sure we didnt score, but we gave everything and with little bit more luck could have won that game. Lets just hope Harry gives Fergie a game and don’t just bend over for him like all the English managers seem to do
Thinking back i actually agree with the intention, or at least can see the reasoning. Arsenal putting us under pressure, if we can't get the ball to AJ he offers very little. On the other hand Jo in the past has proven to be a decent outlet playing on the left (against inferior teams). Jo was intended to be an out-ball who we could hit under pressure, he would hold it and we'd build a bit from there.C_T_I_D said:You know your team are doing well when Chelsea have a game in hand on you that even if they win you'd still be four points ahead of them. Great defensive display.
People will be dissapointed that we didn't go at them and try to win it but we simply did not have the players to do that. Why Jo was started ahead of Johnson though beggars belief though. The only thing I thought Mancini got wrong tonight to be honest.
