FAO City fans travelling to Romania

I went to loads of Dinamo Buc. games when i lived there and it were fine!! get a little bit of trouble in the odd places like you would anywhere but nothing excesive!! Even went to a few of the derby matches with Rapid & Staue..

As for the bar thing, anywhere ive been in Romania they've been more than happy to serve and have a laugh with us, obviously if there's a group of gobshite pricks there then they wont be as happy!!

Wouldnt worry at all to much if your travelling there... great place!!

If Timosoara is anything like Urziceni in Romania, and policing is of a similar standard. Be prepared to be treated like cattle, hoarded into the stadium and beaten up for having the audacity to stand and sing then tear gassed for defending yourself.

Hi!

I am a romanian ultras from Timisoara.Belive me,Timisioara isn"t like Urziceni. We have a wonderful city and a great football team.Last year we eliminated shatar donetc and we are expecting for a qualifing in the europa league group this year.

Our season start wasn't so good but I am afraid we are gonna beat you in Timisoara and in Manchester:D

Sorry for my english mistakes!

Welcome to the site, RU. Must admit been reading up a bit about Timoasara and it does sound quite different from Urziceni. Hope you enjoy both the games, looking forward to it. You've no chance of a win though!

How are people thinking of travelling? Any ideas for the cheapest route?

I'm going by car mate, with my partner driving in her company car

Hi, it is pointless to make comparison between FC Timisoara, because Poly is a team tradition in Romania, founded in 1921 and is a team founded urziceniul night 4-5 years ago. Moreover Timisoara is the city which started Romanian Revolution of December 1988, and also is considered the most civilized city in Romania. Polytechnic matches on stadium creates a great atmosphere, unique in Romania and I like it to mean unique in the world.
Surely your travel in Timisoara will be memorable, come in a city dominated by civilization, not comparable to garbage in Bucharest. Moreover Timisoara is the capital of Banat, a region that has always been against capital Bucharest

Poly-City 2-0

Sounds just like the Romanian version of Manchester.

I was thinking of car potentially. You had a look at a potential route?

My partner drives from Prague to Oradea (100 miles from Timi) once a month on business, she just happens to be going back the week of the game LOL

She goes Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Oradea

I'll get her actual route off her and post it on here for you

It's about 11 hours from Prague depending on traffic on the D1 here in Czechia

Where are you?
