I went to loads of Dinamo Buc. games when i lived there and it were fine!! get a little bit of trouble in the odd places like you would anywhere but nothing excesive!! Even went to a few of the derby matches with Rapid & Staue..

As for the bar thing, anywhere ive been in Romania they've been more than happy to serve and have a laugh with us, obviously if there's a group of gobshite pricks there then they wont be as happy!!

Wouldnt worry at all to much if your travelling there... great place!!

Hey Bucharest Blue, I was working in Bucharest with Deloitte, based in America's House, Nicolae Titulescu Road in Sector 1, where were you

Worked for G&T(construction) over here, loved it!! used to live on Piatta Victorie, big old Voadafone building right on the cross roads (that mental round about).. you'd be living right near the Dubliner then on Titulescu? always a good place for a pint after work!!

In Middle East now, hate the backward place!! would rather be in Europe still!!

Timisoara is a nice town with friendly people. In Romania it is known also as "the little Wienn". You will not have problems here. Romania is a devided in 2 parts. The est and south side are very pour and stupid, and the center (Transylvania) and west side witch are ok, much more civilized. The fans of Poli are also one of the best in Romania. You will like how they support there team. If you do not search problems, you will not have them.
I hope you will have a great trip to Timisoara and will go back with a good impression of our city, team and fans. And of cours, we can drink some bears together before the match.

And if you want to know what the local accommodation is like, just watch Hostel on DVD

Do you like Magyars? As I can speak Hungarian and it's close to the border. Know there's a bit of history between the two countries.

English born, with Hungarian parents. Loads of relatives in Budapest. Might fly to Budapest and get a train or hire a car from there.

Looking forward to the trip if I can be botherd making it?
