FAO the Club, I know you read this site

The problem is that you can't drink in the stands. It's a pretty big ask to queue, purchase and drink abeer in 15 mins. God forbid if you need to have a pee. That's the one thing North american football has going for it. They sell you the beer in your seats.

Half time is for urination and smoking.

You can also drink at the Spanish matches - someone comes round the stadium with beer and nuts.

Could be worse you can't get beer at Scottish football matches

What I find sad is that everyone on here can see the problem, but our multi million pound company (MCFC) can not???? Or even worse don't care!!

We should not have to find the solution - we are the paying customer, they should be trying to make our experience on match day the best possible, this is the problem with getting outside contracted caterers in to do the work - they don't give a F@ck about us......

All this when we don't worry about giving the footballers 50 or 51 thousand per week etc!!

Come on city get your act together, a small thing for you means a lot to us!

This is a club that can't even sort out its smoking ban what chances do we have in getting something so revoltionary as this not a prayer.

I went to the Chilli Peppers concert a few years ago at COMS, there was about 60,000 people there. There was a huge beer tent behind the South Stand, getting served wasn't a problem, they had beer pumps that did about 6 at a time, piece of piss. Then again the getting served at the Ricky Hatton fight was another matter, I hasten to add this was on the concourse though, absolute nightmare, cued for about an hour, maybe the club don't want us getting blitzed though?

I have an idea you may want to think about. We have a problem at City and that is that a portion of the fans leave around 7 minutes before half time to beat the deadly queues for beer and snacks and this looks pathetic on the telly to be honest. As I am sure these people would prefer to see the whole half and get their beer I have a nice idea, something that I picked up in a Spanish Burger king.

Basically what the club should think about doing if they want to speed up serving times is this. Burger king at pub kicking out time in Spain replace their front doors with a big cabinet of small accesable booths with burgers ect inside. Each booth has a coin mechanism and once you have put enough money in you get access to the booths. These booths can be refilled from behind, constantly meaning the customers keep coming. Obviously if the club get enough of these booth walls and make sure they are full ready for half time the fans will be happy at less queues and the club get a higher turnover. Everybodies happy.

On a side note, what is the point in getting Hollands in to do their pies if the best flavour is unavailable. Get it sorted and introduce Chicken and Mushroom.

sort of cattle-feeding solution

And get the pasties back!

I was at the Sunderland game in the Colin Bell, Level 3.

When the half time whistle went, we went down into the concourse, queued for not that long, got a hot dog, and 2 drinks, and got to our seats just as they were kicking off again.

So it is possible to actually get served in the half time break without missing any of the game!
