FAO Tueartsboots / London Blues in general

Jim, I put the info out, email, twitter, facebook, bluewatch, mcfcforum, mcfcfans, MCVITA, text, email, phone calls, Kevin Parker (SC General Secretary) As for help? Yes, you've "suggested" but what help have you done?

Unfortunately I've been able to do very little because you're not open about what you do etc. It's like the Tony Club with you. I Tweeted and texted you about getting somewhere sorted and you were vague with your answers.

What I have done is get Tina from the London Branch involved as you threw up barriers previously. They've got loads on their mailing list (with a fair few of us there yesterday) and a more positive atmosphere has been created. We're all in it for the same reasons.

Yesterday was OK. There were knives and forks laid out on the tables like The Albion - but the service was fine. Just shy of £4 for a good lager.

Evening Tony and Peoffrey and other London Based Blues. I have spoken with the Landlady of the Alma Sports Bar in Chapel Market Islington. Geographically probably as Central and accessible as it can get. She is only too happy to take us on, and look after us (Properly) and turn it over to us, on a twice a week basis (Lets face it why wouldn't she?) She is even happy to wear a Man City Shirt and a White Ra-Ra skirt, if necessary also. Incidentally she will put pictures up with true Man City Legends on the wall on Match Day if we want it.

No Bollox either

Also it is a Proper football Bar, frankly, currently dying on its feet, however it is a true and proper boozer.

The Benefits and Features are as follows.

5 Flat SCREEN TV'S to watch the Boys on.

Very accessible and Central, also 5 min walk from Kings Cross, 15 from Euston Station, so bugger easy for Bluemooners and Others to reach on London Match Days. Basically as Central as it can get.

10 minute walk to Emirates.

Tina the Landlady, doesn't require any assurances or reassurances on numbers that may turn up on the Match day.

Available as SOON as the QPR game on the 1st.

Open's at 8am in the morning, therefore ample time to prepare and Theme Pub in time for the Kick-off. It's an Old Market Trader's Bar, so consequently keeps Old Market Trader's opening hours. 3 club/late night bars in stumbling distance

Opportunity for lock-ins, after the Game.

History? Pub features in opening credit's of Only Fools and Horses from from inception of the series.

Fantastic Night Life in Islington, 10 mins from Holloway Road 5 minutes Kings Cross, easy for those catching trains home.

Assuming we bring the number's, Tina will lay on a Buffet.

Unlike Farringdon and Chancery, not a fucking ghost town on a weekend.

Prices? Now this is the cheapest Boozer in Islinton, Central London Prices remember

£3.00 Lager Foster's Carling blah blah blah
£2.80 John Smiths

Cheap Becks, Bud etc by the bottle

Spirits?
£2.90 for a Double tipple from the following

Smirnoff Vodka, Bells Whiskey, Gordons Gin £3.90 Brandy. Wine? not a problem they will get it in.

PM me boys or phone me on my Mobile, 07746 553641, we can go tomorrow to spk if you wish?
Can speak now if you wish. You know me Tony anyway.

Sorry, not treading on anyone's toes or making myself too busy, but it's there for us if we want it and like it.

As I say, just trying to help, and I think I have the answer

Think you might find it ideal, on every level.

No Offence

No you have to walk 5 yards across the road to the Chippie for those, I kid you not lol

What everyone seems to fail to realise, I don't look for pubs just with Sky and ESPN, 10 to a penny those.
Very very few have foreign channels for 3pm KO's. I know the Alma well, Nick. Totally in Arsenal country, could see it kicking off if we play at same time, we watching on screens and them on way home form Emirates- Don't forget I lived in Stoke Newington.

I don't really know what the fuss is, we visit a pub for a 2-3 hrs once a week but if you find my choice ( my choice for me, just me but amazingly benefits 200 other people) sort yourselves out. I can easily just go down the Half Moon, Herne Hill (10 min journey rather than 45mins to Chancery Lane or hr and 20 to Islington) and watch a game with 10 Blues I know in there for ESPN/Sky (and F3k, West Ken for others).

I don't give a fuck anymore tbh, years of hardwork and extreme networking to benefit all and it's not fucking good enough for some.

If you set yourself up as Mr London Blue then expect criticism when things aren't working. I personally wouldn't have the inclination to do what you do but this is largely because I've retained my Seasoncard and feel I'd need to be at the Pub to oversee everything.

You're overtly sensitive to criticism. Something I've noticed.
