Foals: really good indie band. Nominated for Mercury Prize but have never broken on to anywhere except XFM.
Crystal Castles: incredible dance act. #39 in the Top 100 albums of the noughties in NME Magazine.
Dananananaykroyd: very different act who have only made it on to FIFA 10 despite critical acclaim.
OneRepublic: nowhere near as big as they should be. They should be much more than a two-hit wonder, in my opinion. Vastly under-rated because they're similar to Coldplay.
Back Door Slam: lead singer/guitarist compared to Clapton. Had one album and then broke up in January 2009.
Delphic: a modernised version of Depeche Mode/New Order.
The Smiths: only had two UK Top 10s despite obvious brilliance.
Elbow: musically, one of the best bands around right now. They never get enough praise, in my opinion.
Fleet Foxes: they are everything Mumford & Sons are trying to be, yet M&S get more radio play because they're 'hip'.
Silversun Pickups: brilliant rock band. Smashing Pumpkins re-invented and re-worked. Brilliant.
Vampire Weekend: wonderful band, brilliant sound on both albums but they've never had a UK Top 30. An absolute travesty.
The xx - They get radio play, but never enough, despite winning the Mercury Prize.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - 'Zero' was the song of the year in 2009 according to Spin Magazine, but they never get radio play either, despite critical acclaim on al three of their albums.
