Favourite away day pubs

I always like the pub at Fulham. Just as you come out of the tube station, always a good atmosphere no bother and a nice walk to the ground. For a few years it seemed we always played them in April time so always sunny.
The pub at Charlton was always a good time The Antigalican. I think it may be shut down now.

Haha. My mind might be playing tricks, but think Heath missed a sitter in the derby a few days earlier at Maine Road, finished 0-0?

Hopefully you finished your own job properly in those flats!
Whenever i think of Heath all i can think of is that sitter he missed cant remember anything else he did. A few years back i was in cues bar in Towyn watching a live city game when an older gentleman asked if he could sit at a spare seat round the table. After a while we got chatting about past players and he asked what we thought of Heath and fortunately whilst thinking of how to word what i was going to say he informed us he was his dad.

A cracker at Fulham behind the home end right on the river, beer garden in the summer and good mix of fans with no mither. Also good pub at Putney bridge and The Spotted Horse on Putney high street . Fulham always a cracking day out while Chelsea a mile away and you think why did I bother.

Yep, remember the Springbok well.

Mainly because I went in there the night Adrian Heath scored for the first time in over a year in a midweek Rumbelows Cup win.

That, and I asked for a glass of coke from the bar and the cheeky twat behind the bar poured it from a Coca-Cola bottle and then said £2.50 please!!

Also remember the moody flats across the way from it and walking away from the ground through a market, Shepherds Bush?
That was the biggest shock I've had at an away, those flats near the ground and the local loonballs appearing, the springbok is good though

I cycled past the ground last week and the new stand is coming on a treat. Hopefully they can come straight back up next season as it is always a good day out.

Chelsea is never that much fun as an away fan for pubs. I think we drank in the camel years ago but nothing special although I got absolutely hammered, was the day David James had a worldie and we drew nil nil.
