room temperature beer is only common(if at all) in cold places (i.e. ireland,scotland maybe scandinavia)
that and the smithwicks made me think scottish(thats all,wasn t trying to insult or anything)

I knew you weren't being insulting, sorry if I came across as taking it up like that.
Smithwicks is a fine Irish ale, it's normally sold cold from the tap but I like it room temperature from a bottle too.
Never seen the appeal with stouts, far too filling for a session too. I went to the Gold cup at Cheltenham one year and drank gallins of the stuff in a big Guinness tent. My shitting pattern for the next couple of days was somewhat unsettling.

no need to apologise bud! i really don t take offense to much.
i do see what you mean,guinness is fine for only about four pints(it mixes with cider perfectly,if you re on a session!)before the ol` bloated feeling.
but, guinness should never be judged anywhere but ireland,even at that its the bars where lots of old men drink guinness usually are the ones to get a GOOD PINT. you ll know when you get a good pint!
i do know what you mean for the GUINNESS AFTERMATH...thats a bit much!
