Favourite beer

desperados.jpg

I was out in bolton the other week (on one of my rare trips) and they had this in one of the dives. A mate said try some and it was good.

Taste like a cross between tequilla and corona

Beers

Copper Dragon
Pedigree
A lot of the Phoenix and Marble brews are top notch
Bluebird Bitter

And a special mention for the old, real Boddingtons.....RIP

Lager:

Heineken (Imported)
Carlsberg (ditto)
Krombacher

Draught - Coniston Bluebird
Bottles - Peroni

Bluebird, only in bottles near me and then only from the supermarket.

Why do most pubs in the manchester area just cater for those with no tastebuds? Serving up carling, fosters, becks, blah, blah, bl.....
Some other good ones from this brewery near Ulverston, which is the birthplace of Stan Laurel hence the beers are all Laurel and Hardy related. Lonesome Pine and Laughing Gravy are two good ones.
