Favourite car!

So many nice cars over the years so it's hard to pick a favourite but this is IMO one of the 3 best looking cars ever and the one I regret selling more than any other

Did anyone else have an Uno? I had three - superb cars - peak hatchback. At the time the only car I had that was equal was a 205 GE - total poverty spec with 954cc's and skinny tyres ( no head rests no radio too ) but that had the sublime 205 handling

Yes, mate, I'd a 5-door Uno SX in White / Rust. Was my first car and loved it to death even though it was as mad as a tin of frogs. The car wasn't suited to our climate and usually wouldn't start in the mornings if there'd been overnight rain and it had a habit of conking out if I drove through a puddle. Only learned years later that they'd a known problem with cracks in their distributor caps and that let in moisture to the rotor-arm. The Uno that all the local petrol heads wanted was the Turbo i.e. but the insurance premiums for those was off the scale.

Loved my Uno SX (ADZ 2941 or ADZ 2971) but very much doubt if it survived. Sold it to a couple of shady looking geezers for £440 and was not in great form when they drove away in it.

So many beautiful cars but as with most beautiful things they can cost a lot to run and become nightmares. Money no object Id struggle to choose between

Ferrari 246 Dino
Lamborghini Miura
Corvette C2 (Z06)

All of which are fantasy land prices.

Had two, the second the Turbo. Dung off a digging implement, especially with some minor tweaks, mainly as the body was made out of KitKat wrappers.

Fiat, along with most other small car manufacturers have seriously lost their way, the first gen Punto was good but by then small cars had started to become heavier. Even the modern Abarth models of the 500 feels unexciting to drive. Too much grip and overly isolated from the road.
Have you tried a 595? Not sure I ever felt connected to the road, but wouldn't call it isolated. The exhaust noise was manical, nothing more fun than red lining it on a motorway slip road. Definitely not the best car I've ever had but the one that made me laugh the most

Nice motor but completely the wrong colour, I won’t buy anything red.
