Needless to say United won 3-2 after a stunning 2nd half performance from Cantona

Painful as City fan, but as a football fan enthralling and a classic. Later, the 6-1 was more than payback for such miseries

There is nothing classic about losing to them. Ever. And leading 2-0 and losing - about as far away from being a classic as a city fan could ever imagine.

The 2-3 against the rags affirmed our superiority. Bacon face was fuming at the end and it also got us out of an away tie at Anfield in the next round which was probably a blessing.

The 1-1 draw against Liverpool at the Etihad in Pep's first season was a really good game. Also the 1-1 v Chelsea when we had 10 men and Lampard scored for us.

Losing never affirms superiority. Ever.

The first game of the Sheikh Mansour era against Chelsea at home. There was a brilliant atmosphere that day and I’d gone dressed up in the Egyptian gear I’d bought on a Nile cruise 18 months earlier. I looked a complete dickhead but what fun we had. Robinho scored a great free kick to put us one up but they won 3-1. Great day.

Notts County away in the 85 promotion season. We took in excess of 10000 and were allocate some of the home sections for the game as we could've secured promotion that day. In the seated section there were fans singing the "laughing policeman" song to the local constabulary and in true City fashion we were somehow 3-0 down at half time to a struggling County side. Second half we got it back to 3-2 but it wasn't to be, so it went to the final game of the season at home to Charlton. Great memories.

Great day out and City still got promoted, stopped for a bevy on the way home which soon became two, three etc.

Wife thought I had been involved in a riot and got arrested because I got home late.

Standing right behind Ian Brightwells volley at the swamp when he equalised....utter mayhem in our end despite being spat at from vermin above...twas my first away derby and it was such a laugh....should have actually sneaked a win that game too, they was on the ropes for last 10 mins and couldnt get near Whitey and Mark Ward!

Fancy Dress Boxing Day at Stoke was funny too, got beat 3-1 but couldnt stop laughing all the way home at the sights Id seen, 3 nuns kicking off with a gang of brown suited nazis for one!

Going to sound weird...But the 3-2 FA Cup loss against the rags in 2012 was great, purely for the reason that with ten men we absolutely decimated them and it showed how far we'd come as a side.

We should have had a penalty and they were absolutely hanging on too at the end.
