Berkovic, Foe and Jensen took it to arguably one of the best rag sides ever. Thought we were gonna get hammered when Van Nistlerooy scored early but we stabilised and the Goat popped up to nod home SWPs free kick.

Had to sit on my hands to stop myself jumping up, then a few minutes after Anelka put the Goat in again and he scored, couldnt resist I jumped up and blew my cover. Unfortunately it got ruled out for hand ball, not a single one of the chinese tourists batted and eye lid, plus points for the all the blues in the away end singing 'fuck off back to London' at the end. The rags didnt like it one bit.

They were indeed, they even did their standard stuff of rounding on blues on their own. Me and my brother toddled off to where the Audi garage is in Old Trafford humming ‘fuck of back to London’. Felt like a big achievement taking 4 points off them that season considering we hadn’t won against them 13 years previously to that. United hated the site of the Goat that year he terrorised them.

Should’ve had all 3 points that day too, but we’ve made up for it since in their own back yard!

Great moment but he actually smashed a very low grass-cutting screamer which hit the inside of the post and went in the opposite corner. The in-off-the-post suspense made the celebration even better. This, however, was topped in the next round at Blackpool where we equalized in injury time after an incredible goal-mouth melee involving 15 players. This is now on youtube and the celebration behind the goal is a sight to see. I was actually in an overflow section on the side for Blues who got in the Blackpool end and got loads of abuse being escorted round the pitch.
