Great noise after the Bish goal.Losing 2-5 to Leeds at Maine Road in the FA Cup, 99/00.
Took the lead twice but eventually comfortably beaten by what was then a good team.

I thought this one would come up - regardless of who was involved etc, an all-round brilliant game.Losing 2-5 to Leeds at Maine Road in the FA Cup, 99/00.

I was there and always wonder if both clubs agreed we'd get a couple and they'd win to minimise any further bother. Thought it was going to really go off at HT.You’re right it was a cracking game.
If I remember correctly the atmosphere amongst the City fans got a bit tasty at the half with some fans trying to get into the dressing room to vent their displeasure. Seemed to work as we were much improved second half with 2 goals from Simpson.
Could have got the win with a bit of luck.
Terrific atmosphere from a very big blue following.
Fences prevented a pitch invasion at half time.
That Leeds team was probably at its peak around that point. It was bonkers in the small bit of the North Stand we had that day when Bish scored.Lee Bowyer ran the show that day

Sat in the Kippax as a one off that day - side top of the premier league plays the team top of Division 1 (Championship to you youngsters.
Held our own for large parts and with the genius in Bishops boots (as the commentary of the goal went from Andy Gray 'he does have two lovely feet').
In the end Leeds ran out clear and deserved winners and they were fantastic to watch.
Obviously disappointed not to win, but I can remember coming away from the game thinking that was as good a game as I could remember where both teams were excellent.......
Notts County away in the 85 promotion season. We took in excess of 10000 and were allocate some of the home sections for the game as we could've secured promotion that day. In the seated section there were fans singing the "laughing policeman" song to the local constabulary and in true City fashion we were somehow 3-0 down at half time to a struggling County side. Second half we got it back to 3-2 but it wasn't to be, so it went to the final game of the season at home to Charlton. Great memories.
Only the goals, but for those who can't remember...
The second half of the FA Cup third round against United in 2012 sticks in the mind. Although we lost, we had come back from 3-0 to 3-2 with 10 men after Kompany's controversial red card. The team got applauded off that day in spite of the defeat. Had the game gone on a few more minutes I'm sure we'd have won.
It was the following season
