Favourite city managers

I am just reading 'Big Mal', although I am only familiar with his 2nd coming and it was pretty disastrous! What is evident though is that he had immense confidence in his own ability and that is essential in any great manager.

For me, our greatest manager is without doubt Mancini. He gave us everything that City fans of the last 40 years could only dream of!

I, like I suspect the majority, would have him back this afternoon.

The rest have been nothing more than a conveyor belt of mediocrity interspersed with occasional good times sadly heavily outnumbered by too many suicidal Sundays!

Today being another such Sunday to add to the list.

I liked Kendall, Sven, Keegan on his first two years and joe royle. I'm also developing an admiration for pellegrini too.

John Bond, still got the John Bond's Army flag from the 81 cup final.........lovely hair too.

From my time as a City supporter since 1978-79

BEST
Roberto Mancini (for winning trophies)
Sven Goran
Joe Royle
Kevin Keegan
Howard Kendall
Brian Horton

WORST
Hughes (Club wasted a golden opportunity in giving him 12 months more than he actually deserved)
Frank Clarke (painful to watch a team whose only tactic was to give the ball to Kinkladze and do nothing else)
Alan Ball
