I don't care about the abuse this is going to get me but....

George Best

a top bloke, a gentle soul (and no I haven't forgotten Pardoe), an unfulfilled life.

No abuse from me, as he is my favourite player of all time, without question.

I have always said it, and I always will.

George Best.

The best that I've seen play, but the one only on films -

1) Roberto Carlos 2)Luis Figo 3)Duncan Edwards 4)George Best

These are the one's that stand out for me....

When I first started watching football there was some great wingers around.
City used to play with Barnes & Tueart on either flank.
Around the same time everton had a winger called Ronnie Goodlass who was an
attacking winger, he always wore his sleeves over his hands and just took defenders
on for fun. I remember him scoring from the halfway line in one game. When we played
in the school yard I was always Ronnie with my cuffs over my hands running down the flank.
In the eighties I thought Hoddle & Platini were fantastic players but there have been
so many truly great players over the years.
