I need to find a parking space from Wednesday to Sunday near the ground. There appear to be a lack of trains from Edinburgh. I need to be in London for work on Friday before going back to Manchester for the Southampton match.

So I plan to drive down on the Wednesday, park the car and stay overnight. I then have to get the train to London on Thursday and back to Manchester on Friday. We are staying in Manchester on Friday and Saturday night and then will drive back to Edinburgh on Sunday.

I could park at NCP or the University Car Park on Princess Street but it would cost a fortune for five days.

Any suggestions?

I'd suggest not near the ground. Bit rough round there. Maybe look at near a station or tram stop somewhere a bit further out. Dm if you want a suggestion.

Whoever was substituted off in the second half will surely start as otherwise their substitutions were pointless. Personally I would rest several who played the full ninety, especially Cancelo & Bernardo.

The problem with the tram stops is that overnight parking is not allowed. I was intending to use Ashton Moss park and ride but that is not allowed.

Maybe look for one of those 'book a drive' apps. Not sure what that would cost though.

Either that or park on a decent residential street for the few days (if you're not leaving anything in your car), not sure there are that many close to central Manchester though.
