I think mahrez, alvarez and gomez all have to start.

Wouldn't be surprised to see something like
Ederson
Cancelo
Dias
Laporte
Gomez
Rodri
Gundogan
Kdb
Grealish
Mahrez
Alvarez

Like that team but would give Rodri a few more days off - he needs to be protected where possible.
Unlike Dortmund, Hooe the stage is set for Grealish and Mahrez to take the game by the scruff of ghe nevk

Come on guys, isn't there anyone on here with space on their drive for a blue in need to use for a couple of nights?

I'm sure @JGL07 would buy you a pint too.
Can park outside mine no issues, can’t offer the drive as my insurance says I park my car on the drive but outside the house is fine, and the house cameras cover that spot too.

I’m about 7-8 min drive, usually £6 in a Joe

I personally think Haaland has to start in the group stage until progression is confirmed. I think Mahrez NEEDS to start, he has been Pep’s go-to man in the CL and he needs to get back to a level where he’s actually trusted in the league again - we need the rotation options. Grealish also needs to start to keep the momentum going and Alvarez needs a start too. But it’s quite awkward to fit those 4 in the same side unless we go 4-4-fuckin-2.

The calculated gamble that Pep goes for might actually be resting Haaland in this home game and playing him in Denmark. Then it’s the usual formation with a Grealish-Alvarez-Mahrez front three. It will be interesting to see who he picks.

I think Haaland starts but there will be some changes. A good opportunity to give Gomez a start. Think Mahrez may come back in.

Ederson
Akanji Dias Ake Gomez
KDB Rodri Gundogan
Mahrez Haaland Grealish

I thought it’d be a given that Mahrez would start, but Guardiola’s words today suggested that he’s not happy with his physical condition. I think that’s something Pep won’t tolerate so wouldn’t be surprised if he was benched again tomorrow. Would love to see Palmer get a start on the right, but it won’t happen.
