FC United thread

The only PL team that will not allow cameras in the ground
And refusing to accept any away fans tickets when they face "Big Red" at the Swamp so not to give any money to Uncle Malcolm's boys.

At times.i can't work out which set of fans are the biggest faux socialists...... The Splitters or Dippers....

Just thought I'd bump the thread. Just been to watch Radcliffe Boro beat the baby rags 1 nil as my lad and his mates watch the boro if City aren't playing on a Saturday. The inbred rabble that follow that lot spent more time singing about city than supporting their own team!!
Cannot understand how or why FC United fans have changed ?
When they started they had some witty songs about other Non-League teams, even having a pop at Plug/Rio about staying "loyal" to 3pm fixtures and not changing kick-off times.
They had some great, national publicity about being a "people/members" team, but that seems to have stopped ?
Haven't seen them for c. 10 years as stopped going to see Non-League footy, but they were defiant that they were all about their team and not about the rivalries of MUFC ?

You can vajazzle a female sex organ all you want, but ultimately it's just gonna look like a ****.

If they had called it Manchester FC and wore colours not related to either club it would at least have had a bit of credibility. But the boring farts who formed them were just traitors from the mother club.

Empire builders who conned the deluded and self righteous
Walsh was only ever in it for himself but the dickheads refused to see it until it was too late

This and only this.
They missed a big opportunity here.
They could have formed a third Manchester team that was affordable to those priced out of the game.
Yet they purposely alienated 50% of their catchment area by forming an MUFC tribute act.
No other "business / company' would set up and deliberately alienate 50% of potential customers.

Alternatively they could have also said " fuck United..... go and support your local non league team instead - like Abbey Hey, Droylsden, Hyde U, the 2 Ashton clubs, the 2 Wythenshawe clubs, Stalybridge, Moseley, Alty......"

To be fair they didn't know those clubs existed in 2005. If you remember they were the creators of "Grass Roots Football".
