FC United thread

Away game today in front of a massive 694. 5 points from 5 games, although they’ve now amassed a huge 4 goals. They’re such a joke the opposition have started taking the piss out of them in match previews.

“There is no doubt that the club’s most notable signing is Adam Le Fondre, which has been seen as a major coup by those outside of the club. The 37-year-old has scored 50% of the club’s league goals so far, with the winner against Morpeth. Best known for his time at Reading and Bolton, Le Fondre has been matched in the goalscoring department by Declan Evans, who also joined the club this summer from Southport, after he scored in the 1-1 draw with Ilkeston.”

Must have been a bumper bank holiday crowd?
Despite offering free tickets to anyone with a north Manchester postcode, it being a “big local derby” & a bank holiday with no tv league game the bumper crowd was 2005. As always this includes season ticket holders not actually there, they’ll be lucky to have 1750

Will also include Ashton Town fans too. Be interested in how many they brought and subtract that figure from the attendance.
However they look at it, it's a poor crowd considering the effort to hype up the "North Manchester Day" nonsense. Those who got in for free - as we know from previous freebie days - don't return, especially when the team are getting beat game in, game out.

Hyde United next in the Cup on Saturday.
Hyde are joint top with Ashton Town and Macc - won 4, drew 2 and not lost a game.
Should be a decentish crowd Saturday as I expect Hyde to bring a decent number.
Should the Rag Socks get knocked out, the attendance at the following home game will be very telling.......
The end is nigh......
Come on you Tigers!

Won't be holding my breath for a honest reply...

Are there criminal offences in the Freedom of Information Act?

Yes, section 77 states that it is a criminal offence to alter, block, destroy or conceal information.

Depending on the nature of the incident, an authority or its individual members of staff could be charged with this offence. The penalty is a fine.

There are no financial or custodial penalties for failure to provide information on request or for failure to publish information. But you could be found in contempt of court for failing to comply with a decision notice, enforcement notice, or information notice. This could lead to a fine or, in theory, jail for a senior officer of the authority.
