Completely agree about Macc and the attention that Robbie Savage generated from the BBC.
But, The Splitters have created a myth about their independence, importance to grassroots football and self-sufficiency...

Oh come on - give them some respect..... how can you say that about the club that created "Punk Football" and their fans sing new and witty songs throughout the game and they make friends not millionaires.....

Exactly.
This shower have managed to convince the media that they are the modern version of "underdogs" where all their members/fans are equal.
The thugs who latched onto them (banned from Old Trafford) have conveniently been airbrushed from their past.
The debt to MCC is hidden from social media.
Finally, the myth that they are moving upwards is taken as gospel by the general media.

The bucketeers have properly thrown their toys out of the pram this week. The players were booed off at half time. They were greeted by fans singing we’re fucking shit after the second Workington goal went in. Their manager even moaned about it in the post match video. Meanwhile as you can see from Adrian their convicted little englander ex chairman who gave interviews saying he walked away from the swamp in 2005 on ethical reasons completely overlooking the football banning order he was subject to is moaning that their magnificent support is pathetc

Other fans and their manager agree and point out that the famous moston atmosphere is shit.

Wow and there it is - less than 900 turned up and if the majority are season ticket holders then the cash flow will be desperately low.
Also love “the pitch doesn’t suit our style of play” ha ha and without significant investment it won’t change. So the pitch will be crap next season then.

It doesn't exist.
One had their club snatched away from their local community, the other a bunch of power tripping chancers didn't like the new owners of the club,

The crowd funder whispers were right, they’ve got desperate again. After to use their own words the pathetic attendance the other night the begging bowl has been dusted off again.

As usual the lunatics are moaning about not having a wealthy backer overlooking the millions the council have handed them and going on to drone on about sustainability, despite after twenty years not been even near that point. Still if anyone if feeling sorry for the little pricks feel free to chip in below. I won’t, like most people in moston I wouldn’t give them the steam off my piss.
