What is ''doing a Marske''?

With regards to the name, the question to be asked is why did the FA permit such a name to be used? Would they allow FC Vale of Port? FC Albion of Hove & Brighton?
The reason the Moston Rag Socks did it, was a deliberate attempt to trade off the back of the club they turned their backs on. Same name jumbled around, same kit, same style badge, singing the same songs whilst wearing Newton Heath / Norwich scarves and trying to look edgy and alternative, inventing meaningless phrases and soundbites like ''Punk Football'' and ''Making Friends Not Millionaires'' - all to keep them relevent and in the public eye. All this, of course, when claiming to be anti establishment, they are applying for funding all over the place from any source going, to fund / finance this ''fan led club'' (but not truly fan financed club).

Bailed out more than once by the council they still spout the same shit about how every club should be fan led and fan owned, when they are one of the worst examples of a club being fan owned going. 19 years old and 2 million in debt........
Abbey Hey, Maine Road, the 2 Wythenshawe clubs - long established Manchester non league clubs that don't get the same financial help from the council yet spend within their means season after season without asking for handouts month by month and year on year. Yet the media laud upon these fuckers and therefore give their ownership legitimacy and kudos they don't deserve. You only have to witness David Conn and his whole chapter about the Rag Socks on how ''this is the future'' in his book that derided City's new model under Sheikh Mansour. Conn was always positively vocal about his new found Champagne Socialist friends until he realised that he too, had been conned.... and then the respected journalist who made a name for himself in exposing dodgy club owners went very, very silent in naming and shaming his new found friends as dodgy club owners.....

.......
The FA allowed AFC Wimbledon to use that name (as a fan owned club) when Wimbledon FC moved to Milton Keynes.
Moston were always going to milk the rag name to maximise interest, though I'm sure they would claim it was to focus on the protest aspect.

Doing a Marske- Marske in the NPL have had to withdraw due to not having enough money to continue the season so have withdrawn from the league.

FC(S)CUM- Making friends not millionaires is the funniest slogan ever created from a club who's fans are basically ex RAG hooligans.

Why are they struggling, The Glazers are still at United and they claim to have 5 to 7 thousand loyal supporters.
Nothing has changed at Big Brother and FCUM was set up to form a football club for the fans to run instead of an outside investment or a billionaire ownership and corporate money and TV money,

Loyal supporters my arse, as soon the media lost all interest and results started to fade on the pitch and then relegation to one of the lower leagues, they all fucked off back to watching United and buying Glazers United shirts and scarfs again,
