So what happened to the shortfall from the infamous 3rd sector funding that wasn't forthcoming?
To be fair it's a shame that schools have to even apply for this type of funding when the Government should be providing them with the necessary funds to operate at optimal performance but that's the Tories for you. Besides numerous schools will be using the SMRE facility at FCUM so it'll benefit schools indirectly :)Sorry mate, tried to help. :-(
Shame M&S let them enter against schools.
All those fake votes have bitten FC Scum on the arse - St.Andrews won!
I'm delighted to inform you that we have been awarded the judges' prize for community effort in the M&S Energy Fund competition.
I know that you all worked extremely hard on our behalf to promote the bid and we are very grateful.
The £12,000 grant will be used to upgrade our lighting in school to LED. Not only is this more energy-efficient, it has been proven to create a better learning environment.
I'm sure you'll all agree that this is a worthwhile grant to benefit all of the children in our school and an achievement of which collectively we should be very proud.
THANK YOU - your support has been amazing!
The M&S Energy team
Sounds like it.I'm confused by this. Who won? Both FC Scum and St Andrews say they have been awarded £12k. So has the prize been split?
They both got the full 12k.Sounds like it.
At least they didn't get all of it and a school got half of it.
Do they ever pay for anything ?![]()

Supporters volunteering their time and expertise for the club they own, what's the problem? No rich benefactor to throw money at it at FCUM.Do they ever pay for anything ?![]()
You mean like the council tax payers of Manchester, whilst removing places for the homeless. You must be so proud.Supporters volunteering their time and expertise for the club they own, what's the problem? No rich benefactor to throw money at it at FCUM.

Think they will go bust. They are like the worst collection of rags you can get. I have watched them twice - away at curzon and Trafford. A bigger collection of wankers it would be impossible to see gathered in one place. All trying far too hard to be cool and all dressed in retro Adidas with Manchester haircuts. I would imagine they all have small cocks.

Actually the majority of local residents were in favour. There were of course those against but there has been a few developments recently where there has been zero opposition so I think the club is generally well accepted in the area, possibly due to the community activities for local residents.
