Mini rags are always gonna imitate the original copying club, who took their ground name from Lancs already famous cricket ground.

Among other things their nickname from Salford City Rugby team bereft of their own deas, they even copied their badge off an old dippers badge fuck all original about them.

Remember seeing years ago as a kid about the rags copying antics, so it's no surprise the little raggies can't themselves be original in the slightest.

Saw a video of some FSCUM fans singing behind a goal.
As someone who follows Darlington FC in NLN I wanted to have some empathly with them but you cant, just a bunch of united fans trying to re live the good old days.
 
Some telling answers from the bucketeers board to some awkward questions from some less deluded co owners.

Turns out that there are no consequences expected from the council if they can’t repay our money as the loan repayment deal hasn’t actually been written and agreed yet, the two sides worked together before and luckily the council subscribe to the sunken cost fallacy.

At a time when all councils are strapped for cash it’s a huge misuse of our rates.

I like the bit where it says for the past 10 years they have only been paying off the interest - a decision the previous boards took “for reasons that remain unclear to this board”

They lost £17K in February and £10.5K in March….. yet are now planning to repay the council £6.5K a month from August.

How do board members - and even the Co-owners - keep a straight face when reading that nonsense.

It’s particularly galling as it’s not even true, they haven’t been paying off any interest for the last 2 years as they’ve been on a repayment holiday.

Good to see some members asking questions but the amount of them that think they have no issues and their failing ownership model is the answer to all of footballs problems is laughable

And the club stating how much the council appreciates all the work in the community they do - doing projects mostly funded by the council themselves, outsourcing the work.

The most annoying aspect of this sorry vanity project is the media still looking the other way and refusing to call the club out for being the charlatans that they are.

The older ones pine for the days when , they’d go about beating up just about anybody whilst outnumbering them 10 to 1 , horrible self entitlement is a terrible trait …

You just know that this was written prior to Sunday’s final against Mel Gibson’s Caledonian Braves with the intention of informing the nation that the Bucketeers had just won the first of the European trophies on offer in the form of the Fenix Trophy.
So a little bit of deleting and re-editing took place to present this effort which simply rehashed and retold everything we already knew about the past yet refused to acknowledge the present mess they are in and offered no challenge to the “100% owned by fans” tag yet 100% reliant on the local council to keep them in business.

Maybe the author left that part out as David Conn said he is working on a piece about that…….
 
The guardian report is pretty interesting as they’re blaming all their problems on the old board & Andy Walsh. They decided in 2015 after blindly following them for 10 years that they were not the messiah after all. They staged a coup and elected a new board, many of the original fc fans walked away. In the ten years since then they’ve continued to lose money hand over fist, borrowed more and written more complete pie in the sky business plans. Nick Boom proudly tells the guardian he’s been sat on the board for most of that time presiding over the shitshow with no mention of what a financial mess they’re in. It’s the kind of reporting North Korea would be proud of.
 
The greatest fans in the world are moaning amongst themselves for the shit atmosphere they’re creating at the Mickey Mouse cup

One of the lads from work went and was due back in today but hasn't bothered.
Can just visualise him and 6 others wobbling around Italy singing "we're FC utd, we do what we want" before spending some cell time
