They actually seem to be a likeable bunch on the whole, my bias notwithstanding. There doesn't seem to be too many w***ers in the bunch. And there does seem to be a strong team ethic instilled in them. Remember Haaland stepping in to "protect" Phil (against Arsenal, I think)?

Though those lovable chaps from Merseyside might want to disagree when they think of a Portuguese player in our midfield with a dog called John.

What's great about that picture is the seemless transition from players and staff to tge fans. A tidal wave of blue, love it

The club feels more together now than it ever has and that's reflected on the field with the results, but I don't feel connected to it in the personal sense, whilst City is a part of me the distance between us as fans and the players have never been more distant.

I disagree. There has been a long term trend everywhere for all players to become more distant but I do feel that has been reversed recently. This group of players openly values the fans more than any in recent times. I don’t think I’m imagining it.
