Fellaini and Baines

Re: Fellaini and Baines to Man United

If they sign Baines I hope they get milked exactly like we did when we signed Lescott, but I doubt it. Kenwright is a bit of a soft touch and I can see him appeasing Gollum and giving him a good deal. Don't mind if they sign Baines tbh. He looks great as a big fish in a small pond, but at United I think he'll be overshadowed. At Everton he's allowed to take on a lot of the attacking duty, such as free kicks etc.. At United I doubt he'll be given the same responsibility.

Fellaini is a good player, just hopefully they get gouged on him too. 3 years left on his contract and he was Everton's most expensive signing, so they'll look to make a lot of money there.

Being reported by Goal & The Times that Arsenal have triggered his £22m release clause.

If this is the case we need to step in and make this deal fast

One is an overrated thug and the other is a slight upgrade from Kolorov and a slight downgrade from Clichy and Cashly.

This isn't Tranny or Bale we are talking about here.
I agree.

It's not even like he's Javi Martínez.

There's a reason that no top clubs have snapped up Fellaini after five years at Everton.

He'd be a squad player for us. Maybe replacing García's squad place. By the time we'd tried to outbid Arsenal it would be around the £28m mark, for a squad player...no thanks!

Moyes is half the manager Slurgie is.

Yeah, but the other half will come in dodgy pens and comcomitant sendings off! I hear that with Moyes goin' to The Swamp he has come to some arrangement(?) that he will not drag the crown jewels of the team with him! But the Rags have lived by 'dog eat dog' for seasons!

No.

We don't need Fellaini at all.

besides, if we triggered his buyout clause it would be £50M (well in the papers anyway)

Re: Fellaini and Baines to Man United

They will both go from neverton but they are not in the same class as who we have just signed and who we are looking to sign.
