Fellaini and Baines

Re: Fellaini and Baines to Man United

Time to piss on the parade and get a bid ifor Fellaini.

Lets not let them have an easy run at what would be a great signing for 22m

DAVID MOYES has a week to decide whether to sign Marouane Fellaini.
The Everton star has a buyout clause of £22million — but that only stands until July 31.
Then Moyes’ old club will be able to name their price and it will undoubtedly go up.
Manchester United manager Moyes has been knocked back once by Everton this summer after making a £12m bid for left-back Leighton Baines.
Now he is concentrating on getting midfield ace Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona.
That is looking a forlorn hope with two bids being turned down — including a club-record £31m offer.
United are now considering one more bid of £35m.
Moyes is keen to strengthen with some big signings as the new season approaches and wants bodies in.
This means he may now switch his main focus to triggering the release clause in Fellaini’s contract.
Moyes has acknowledged United fans may be growing concerned at a failure to land a top name so far.
But United’s Phil Jones said there is no panic, despite the big spending going on at neighbours Manchester City.
Jones said: “I don’t think the lads are too bothered who the players are that other teams are signing.
“It’s irrelevant. We’re just concentrating on ourselves and what we’re about and we know what to do

Re: Fellaini and Baines to Man United

I was talking about Fellaini (also Baines and all things Everton) with a very much ITK friend recently, and he was adamant that apart from Moyes and possibly Wenger very few in the game rate him, and reckon that apart from his awkward factor (all elbows and hair) and ability in the air he is technically deficient, he want on to talk about his angles when accepting the ball being all wrong (a bit over my head this)

So on that basis he's welcome to the rags - I actually think it would signal a different style of play for them. Therein I think lays their problem. Moyes is a coach / manage and has his own ideas on the game, whereas Purple nose was more backseat when it came to technical coaching leaving it to the Dutch guy who's gone. How will the players / fans etc take to this, and before you suggest that Moyes will not try anything different as he's under the influence of his hierarchy, think again Moyes is no pushover / yes man and that might ruffle feathers sooner rather than later

tbh he did not look like he had a clue what to do when we won the league, and when Sergio arse raped him at the swamp last season

Re: Fellaini and Baines to Man United

Oh and he reckons Baines is nailed on for the rags
Also believes that Everton will struggle this season, and that Martinez is definitely not all he's cracked up to be, two very different personas one for the media (which we know about) and a very different one around his club - make of that what you will

Baines will end up there. Don't think Fellaini will. Don't think Rooney will stay behind for Moyes either.

I can't see Rooney staying. I've said one thing constantly about the FatScouseGit ever since he scored the cracker against The Arse when he was sixteen - he just likes playing football. Sitting on the bench, no matter the size of the weekly pay packet, is not part of his DNA. He'll be off somewhere soon. Can't see him staying all this season at The Swamp.

33/1 is a nice price for everton to be relegated

I heard a story third hand from a scouser that apparently Baines can't stand Moyes, and would never play for him if he has any choice in it !
I must admit that I was surprised to hear this, but if true it's another player Utd might not be signing this summer.

Re: Fellaini and Baines to Man United

Fellaini to the rags won't improve them much.

As a central midfielder he's bang average, he got glory last year playing behind the striker, where the rags already have players in abundance.

A tailors dummy would be an improvement to the rags midfield right now. I think Fellani would be a good signing for them, as they need a bit of bite in that area. Carrick aint one to get stuck in when the bullets are flying.

Just a few points.

1, We don't need him

2, He's not as good as we've already got

3, He's an overrated, dirty twat

4, The rags are welcome to him
