Oh and he reckons Baines is nailed on for the rags
Also believes that Everton will struggle this season, and that Martinez is definitely not all he's cracked up to be, two very different personas one for the media (which we know about) and a very different one around his club - make of that what you will
33/1 is a nice price for everton to be relegated

I heard a story third hand from a scouser that apparently Baines can't stand Moyes, and would never play for him if he has any choice in it !
I must admit that I was surprised to hear this, but if true it's another player Utd might not be signing this summer.

Why on earth would someone not like Moyes ???

Fellaini to the rags won't improve them much.

As a central midfielder he's bang average, he got glory last year playing behind the striker, where the rags already have players in abundance.

A tailors dummy would be an improvement to the rags midfield right now. I think Fellani would be a good signing for them, as they need a bit of bite in that area. Carrick aint one to get stuck in when the bullets are flying.
I'm not one for bigging the Rags up, but their midfield did actually win the league at a canter last season.

I am guessing that you mean the former Everton Manager, David Moyes. If you are, can I please advise you that he now goes by the names Moysey or Davey. This was apparently a rule of entry, handed to the media by the dear departed Sir Alex Ferguson, as a dictat for future Old Trafford press conferences. If you do not refer to "old Davey lad" in the most friendly of manners, akin to greeting a long lost friend or a reunited family member, you will no longer gain entry to the private members club, known as press love to those in the know.

Nah, they won it in spite of the midfield being crap.

Their style of play didn't need a great midfield.

I know one man who LOVES him. One Alex Ferguson.

Bacon chops thought long and hard about how to manage his hand over to a successor. Of course it would be a complete disaster if the chosen new guy was actually a briliant manager and won everything in the his first few seasons. A TOTAL disaster if god forbid he won the CL once or twice. That would leave everyone thinking SAF was perhaps not all he was cracked up to be.

So the successor had to be credible, so that no-one rumbled SAF's plan. But ultimately shite.

I give you the perfect man for the job: one David Moyes. A masterstroke of an appointment by SAF.

Moyes will say all the right things. Seem to be doing all the right things. And yet ultimately prove to be a waste of food and will be sacked. Thereby perfectly preserving SAF's place in history as the best ever manager. Job done, Moyesee.

And it was really only the form of Carrick, rather than the group, which carried them through IMHO
