Fergie at it again with BBC {merged}

Re: Fergie at it again with BBC

Didn't Man Utd want to break away from sky a few years ago, they reckon they will double the money by selling the rights to show the game independently.

It covers BOTH !!
So the PL should NOT pay the TV rights to the Rags and Fergie should be dealt with appropiately, but IMO the PL will NOT have the balls to do either !!!!!!!!

he gave an interview

Not on the BBC according to 606 at the moment.

He will speak to them if they win though, that's part of his agreement to give interviews. The hypocritical old cünt. I don't want to see his badger ravaged face anyway.

Ferguson in "rules don't apply to me shock."
Did anyone really think this tool would seriously give a shite what the FA/PL/BBC rules say?
He's ridden roughshod over the laws for years and got away with murder...why should he stop now?

He will stop soon, believe me. What a happy day that will be.

Is it just me or does Taggart not seem well? Is the excessive booze to block out the problems getting to him? Every press conference etc he does he just seems miles away. Tbf he's always been a dull bleeder of course, but recently he just seems to be 'off'. Are we getting to you Slur Ale-x, or is it Malcolm and the clan, *evil laughs*

He needs to step down before he falls down.

Glad someone else thinks the same.
I`ve noticed for some time now that Fergie appears to be kind of "daydreaming" through interviews.Stress or ale ??
Or both ?

Re: Fergie at it again with BBC

DEFIANT Sir Alex Ferguson is on a collision course with the Premier League by continuing his long-running feud with the BBC.

Manchester United have confirmed Ferguson will refuse to be interviewed by the Match of the Day cameras at Fulham tomorrow, despite new rules brought in this season that stipulate managers have to speak to broadcasters who have paid for TV rights.

There is a sliding scale of punishments on clubs rather than managers, with United likely to receive a warning in the first instance and fines if Ferguson continues his BBC boycott.

He has not spoken to the corporation since a Panorama documentary in 2004 inferred his son Jason, then a football agent, used his father’s influence and position to help him secure deals. In 2007 Ferguson confirmed he would never speak to the BBC again, describing them as “arrogant beyond belief”.

It will cause United embarrassment as the club’s chief executive David Gill attended the meeting when Premier League chairmen voted in favour of the new rule last season. In previous seasons, Ferguson has sent his No2 Mike Phelan to carry out his BBC interviews.

Premier League officials and the League Managers’ Association have tried to persuade Ferguson to soften his stance, but a club spokesman confirmed he would not speak to the BBC.

Ferguson has also admitted Wayne Rooney is suffering a crisis of confidence as he struggles to end the worst goal drought of his career, now at 1,082 minutes for club and country. Rooney’s last competitive goal was against Bayern Munich on March 30 - the 34th of his best ever season, but he has played 13 times for United and England since without scoring.

His last strike was in a World Cup warm-up game with Platinum All Stars, which is not in the record books.

Ferguson said: “He doesn’t know where his next goal is going to come from.
