I've been aware of a lot of rags being upset at the departure of their manager, someone posted some screen captures from their forum on here and seen some of them on Facebook but none of them have mentioned the fact that there's a Blue Moon on the rise too. So whilst their most successful manager is going out into the sunset and they are worried about what state their club will be in without him I thought I'd send out a few texts to remind them whilst their clock is winding down ours is stronger than ever. Been sending a few texts about:

Indeed it does, if everybody out there thinks Ferguson suddenly woke up yesterday and thought ''im retiring'' they are deluded, something has happened in the time from them winning the league until yesterday.
He written in the Chelsea program along the lines of'' this is one of my best squads, another decade of glory, i might not be here for the DECADE but the next few years certainly''
Now you dont put that in a match programme and then a week later retire its just not done, iv posted already in this thread that David Meek on Keys n Gray let a few things slip, now if it would have been Durham interviewing Meek i think he would have dug deeper, he hinted Ferguson was pushed, i would like to find out more about his health, my ex wife had an uncle who looked and had nose bleeds like Ferguson and within a year he was dead.
Some journos in the next few days will have their revenge on the old pisscan and start digging, hold on to your hats blues

Be it his health or something a little more sinister, he has not gone of his own accord, of that im fucking sure as the ***** ego would not allow for it.

I so hope the shit hits the fan and the press goes for his throat!

i cant see glazers giving him a push and letting him picking his successor, its obvious that moyles is his pick, otherwise could see any of the worlds top managers there, but moyles as glazers choice i just cant see

A point that is missed in the all the giddiness is that his decision may well have been based on the fact that David Gill steps down as CEO next month.

Gill was his main ally in the boardroom. The incumbent CEO, Ed Woodward, is a Glazer man, rather than a Ferguson man. As such, no signings of RvP magnitude for the forseeable.

Can't agree there, I would rather them continue striving for success, then when we outdo them it will be all the more satisfying.
