I did drop you all a very big hint about this a couple of weeks ago based on something I'd been told.

3) That some of the papers have been told that Baconface is retiring (although that will be strictly embargoed). They will certainly not get the same deference from the media after he goes and there's probably going to be a shit-storm heading their way then. I've noticed that there have been a few stories recently in some outlets which have been quite disrespectful so this could be part of that.

Also I couldn't believe how quiet the media were after their title win, which makes me suspicious that their PR team are keeping their powder dry for something even bigger.

What better time to announce his retirement than less than 24 hours after we (hopefully) lift the FA Cup and they get presented with the PL trophy? This should guarantee a great turn out for the rags parade.

PB Tell us more...

Re: Slurgie to retire?

And the rags PR machine goes into overdrive. As PB said they were very quiet after their title win, in fact nobody gave a shit. Compare that to our win last year when the whole world knew about it. We have the FA Cup on Saturday and the rags can't bear us to be in the limelight. Major announcement on Saturday keeps us off the front and back pages and ensures that their parade on Monday isn't attended by one man and a dog. Cue sensationalist headlines for many days, photos beamed around the world MUEN 64 page special supplement and everybody forgets about what a bullying, ranting, devious, sly, lying twat that he is. Great manager, horrible person.

Well that’s it then, I’m definitely keeping my car in the garage on that day as the M6, M42, M40 and the M25 are going to be grid locked on that day.
