I think many of us will miss him when he's gone more than we care to admit.

Life will be a lot duller without him.

Correct.

Especially for people my age who have only followed football for the years in which he's been at United.

It'll be odd to see football without Ferguson, whether you respect him or hate him.

I hope its true....fingers crossed. I could not careless if Mourinho ended up at the swamp either, he does not guarantee silverware - look at his time at madrid he is leaving that club hated by the fans and basically the whole playing squad.
