But it does divert attention from us which, in my eyes, can only be good. Leave us to our preparations and speculate about Baconface!!

At 71 years of age , it must be in his (and his wifes) thoughts to call it a day ......

but if and when he does it may not follow that he moves away from the club .... a move 'upstairs' , in some capacity , may well be offered to him!

I was told about this a couple of months ago by a very reliable source and discussed it via PM with a few posters. He's going at the end of the season

you have to remember that fergie is a ****. he wont preside over a losing team. with us Chelsea and indeed spurs likely to emerge as strong contenders for the title next season the rumours could well be true.

a bit like tony blair handing a certain defeat to brown the ambitious ****.
