Just been in to Waterstones. The Chapter about 2011-2012 is worth a read just for comedy value. The section about the 6-1 has the following untruths/lies in it:-

1. They "absolutely battered us" for the first 40 minutes;
2. They should have been 4-0 up at half time;
3. They were in control of the game at half-time;
4. Balotelli fouled Evans before the sending off;
5. We were 9 points ahead after the match.

He might have got away with revisionism like that if the game had been played 20 years ago but it was only 2 years ago. Everyone still remembers it was finely balanced for the first quarter but once Mario scored we were well on top.

If they should have been 4 up at half time, we should have been 10 up at full time.

The club and himself have got away with being able to revise history for so long that they just think its par for the course, everyone knows thats bullshit about the 1 - 6 but the fans of united are weird they are almost like cult members where they just believe everything he says and refuse to believe that he is any way infallible.
