Lying, deluded, purple-nosed piss-can!
Fergie's first book came out in (I think) 1992 and I went into Waterstones had a look at his comments on the 5-1 in 1989.
Firstly he claimed Slippery Jim Leighton had nothing to do all game apart from the goals.........
Secondly he claimed the rags were ''on top'' of the game until it was disrupted and the players called off the pitch because of crowd trouble and as a result this unsettled them. The game was stopped after just 3 minutes.....
Finally he said the game was a lunchtime kick off (again which didn't suit his players) because of crowd trouble at the previous derby..... the game was a 3pm kick off and it was the following seasons derby - the 3-3 at Maine Road that was the lunch time kick off.

If I win, I will burn them.
Stick 'em on eBay.
I bet some sad bastard rags will be willing to pay well over the odds for them.

Apart from his nose looking even worse since he retired, nobody wants to buy his autographed books. :-) (1 or 2 books have had bids on them)
