Mixed bag, with some hairy shite thrown in, but still overall brilliant even with that.


His assist was a throwback to the role he used to play before coming to City; popping up everywhere in attacking positions & being excellent at all of it.

He is the nearest thing we have, to Colin Bell.

Imo Pep is not wrong when he talks about the importance he has had & if we look back over the years, he hss been the one who has always been there, whilst the stars, even the Silvas & Agueros, have had patches of indifferent form or injuries etc, he has quietly been doing his job, often under extreme circumstances, at a very very high level, often without a break.

Imo that makes him our best player.
 
Have a look at Fernandinho's starting position in the move for the 3rd goal.

He is marking Everton's no 10 in our box due to the cbs having no partnership.

When Ederson throws the ball out, Fern is next to him.

Next he's effortlessly doing something Mahrez, Sané, Sterling, both Silvas often find difficult, at the absolute other end of the pitch.

He’s up there with Zaba as one our legends from recent years. He’s never really had a bad drop of form since he joined us, barring from a few games.

And shows that not all the lovely Brazillian people are not so " happy go lucky " and accepting of their multi-racial country ?
