I think that was his best ever performance for us last night. Made Milner & Henderson look powderpuff. Absolutely bossed it.

He is the most complete midfielder in the world, and maybe even the best player to ever pull on a City shirt. He’s that good. Every week.

I think it's the other way round. His supreme passing and technical ability is overlooked by the 'hard work' he puts in. He's one of the best passing central midfielders in world football.

Wasn't he more of an attacking, box to box mid previously?
Makes his transition (and the fact that he successfully played in a midfield 2 with Yaya) that much more impressive

After last night, saw a lot of people saying Ferna should be mentioned in the same breath as Dave, Sergio, Vinnie, Yaya etc. (already is in my book). Can't think of a greater midfield performance in the PL from anyone. Will certainly be a tough task to replace him when he eventually leaves.
