He's back training. He travelled. I don't think Pep has ever started a player straight after injury, could be wrong, but normally they are on the bench. Hopefully he will be ready for Liverpool and we get through today.

He is the first name on Pep's team sheet every game. The suits have to get a Dinho Jnr sorted out as soon as possible. We need a fulcrum in the middle, if him, Gundogan and KDB all out today then who will it be? Dave can't do it, Stones isn't a midfielder. Foden is a front player??

Could give Muric his debut and play Ederson there :)

As long as Sane doesn't play LWB.

It blows my mind to think a few games without Silva, De Bruyne, and Aguero we've been alright and we've coped, yet you take away Ferna and it all goes a bit tits up.

Imagine 2 years ago or even a year ago we'd be without Aguero, Silva and De Bruyne at the same time it would'nt bare thinking about

Mendy has been a bigger miss than I thought as well. He was always getting caught out but since he went out of the team the clean sheets went with him.

Not sure why, he's been key to our recent success, we can cope without anyone else pretty much.

I just hope it confirms to the majority how important he is, he's not just some defensive midfielder, he does an awful lot more, and that year covering Yaya's arse, made him a much better player than he already was.

Our whole shape is compromised without him, we got away with it last season because we were so dominant, with the other injuries to contend with this season we are stretched and not controlling games as well.

Without wishing to underplay the importance of Fernandinho, he played in all our defeats last season, he played against Lyon in both games this season and against Chelsea. It’s more the cumulative effect of losing top players together that has undermined us a little, not just losing Fernandinho.
Equally, conceding 2 unrepeatable strikes, a very, very good one (Palace first goal), giving away an unnecessary penalty and missing a few chances have also combined these last couple of weeks as well.
