Fernandinho (continued)

Re: Fernandinho

I think this guy is in with a serious shout for Player Of The Season if he keeps these performances coming.

Re: Fernandinho

Extremely impressive in Yaya's absence, he took on a different role yesterday and flourished massively which I wasn't even sure he was capable of.

Without Yaya, we generally lack a player who will take responsibility and create from deep, but yesterday Dinho recognised this and grabbed hold of the game himself. With Yaya on the pitch Dinho spends less time on the ball, but yesterday, he was the man who kept the ball at his feet and analysed the pitch. He was the man controlling, and yet, he still carried the ball from deep excellently and his defensive work was as good as ever. He took his passing up a notch yesterday, given the extra responsibility he really stood up to be counted; his passes were timely and crisp, Palace's lines were ultra tight and they didn't allow many passing angles, but Dinho still broke the lines regularly.

We're so fortunate this man grew into the league, unbelievable player and ideal partner for Yaya.

Re: Fernandinho

Did Pellegrini clone the guy when he came to Manchester, he is everywhere on the pitch! Fantastic signing.

Re: Fernandinho

Class again yesterday some quality forward passes, imagine if a few off his efforts were inches under the bar instead off inches over would have been talking about another MOTM performance. Got the real deal when buying him.

I thought he was MotM. Hart had some stand out moments but I would put both Fern and Navas ahed of him on the day.

Re: Fernandinho

I was pretty sceptical when buying him cause he was not a player I had heard of much but he really has shone since he came to city. Looking like a great buy!

Yeah true I reckon he'd have took it if he stayed on longer. Navas again very threatening exactly what we need agains a park the bus side for me tho Harts was deserved tho because on a few occasions he had to go 15+ minutes without a sniff off action then pull off a worldie

Re: Fernandinho

Player of the season for me. My only issue is what do we do if he gets injured,
We need a quality pacey DM if Rodwell isn't going to be given a chance.

Aguero is the player of the season so far, without doubt.

Aguero's star wouldn't be shining so bright without Fernandinho, would still be shining just not as bright.
Fernandinho for me by some distance ... so far.

Hughes and Mancini had a habit of buying shitty players. e.g. adebayor, robinho, javi garcia, sinclair etc.

All of Txiki's buys this season have been nothing short of fantastic.

it wasn;t mancini, it was txiki.

maybe mancini tried to get jovetic but i think it was txiki who was trying to sign fernandinho 12 months ago.

I am sure they were both mancini choices but it doesn't matter now i guess
we are lucky to have both

mancini agreed to have him but it's txiki who scouted him, just like he scouted navas and negredo.

it's just the beginning of txiki's era.
