Fernandinho is hugely underrated

Nothing more then a hatchet man. If you listen to the media.!lol he is a vital and a hugely underrated player think he is one of the hardest players in our team to replace.
 
It's impossible not to love Fern. As many have said, he's the player of the season in my mind. Gives his all every game and the first name on the team sheet for me
 
Our gifted work horse in the engine room of our midfield. Crafty and deceptive robbing the opposition and setting up and manoeuvring our counter attacks when they don't expect it. A wonderful, valuable player almost unnoticed by all for us.

i don't give a shit about media. who cares what they think.

fernandinho are really underrated.
he is our engine. without him, both defensive and offensive unit will not function well.
the only player in the middle that will play efficiently whenever we are in possession or without the ball.

Didn't think he had his best day yesterday, by his outstanding standards, but he didn't need to. I love him though, all the more when you think he role he plays for us isn't really his best one, season on season of totally selfless performances with no glimpse of complaint.
 
Underrated by the media. His charging about sometimes causes us problems, with the gaps he leaves behind if he is only playing in a midfield 2, so would like him to pick his 'pressing moments' a bit more wisely. Other than that, he's great, and give his age, i'm amazed at his engine. Got stronger as the game went on yesterday, and he's deceptively fast. Think he will be better next season as well. Just wish he was 5 years younger.

I think he is level with Kante at the moment, which is not feigned praise, they are both in extremely good form. I think Fernanindho edges it over the long-term for now, though, as he has shown this level for more than a season (Kante could be a Schneiderlin for all we know).

Regardless, our little Fernando is a very talented player that deserves more plaudits than he gets, to be sure.
 
Thought he was awful for tne first 30mins yesterday but was awesome there after he's no defensive midfielder though u get the best out of him when he can get forward and pressure there back line and holding midfielder!
 
Not at his best yesterday , but should absolutely walk our player of the year
 
surprised he only has one year left on his contract.

We have been very quiet on the contract front in the last six months. Assume Pep will make final decisions.

89.1% pass completion suggests you must have real trouble with sums. He did get dispossessed three times but that hardly requires a many fingers...
 
His game is limited when he's had to play with Toure in a two, often doing the defending and pressing on his own. Kante at least has Drinkwater alongside him who puts in the same work rate and pressing.

Fernandinho is actually a box to box player, we just can't utilize him in that role often.
