Not seen much of him but seems fucking expensive for a 28 year old who's been playing in the russian league for the past 7 years

At least we know he can perform in the Prem. Fellaini aside this guy has only ever played in the Ukraine and last played for Brazil over a year ago. I trust in the new Barca guys though and hope I'm wrong.

I hope so but how many blues were calling for his signature before we were linked? Now everyone seems happy but isn't that what happens with most players we sign to begin with?

£23M is a risk, but then again me and you aren`t paying it.
Not really but his post was slightly ambiguous. It shocked me!johnmc said:Joehannes said:Who? Fernandinho or García?barcajaden said:what about garcia?
what does that mean for him because toure, fernandinho and barry are most likely going to be the ones that start?
Btw he is a great player. Barca were sniffing around for him but we got Song in the end.
You really need to ask?

You happy for 23 on this guy? He's worth half that.

Brazilians who play in the Ukrainian league aren't visible enough, so to speak. Brazil's managers are often afraid to pick them because of how the fans, not having seen much of the players, would react. Sounds mad but it's true.ifiwasarichfan said:I really hope I am wrong but I am not impressed by this at all. For me this is the most important area of the side we need to improve, and like most I am a massive fan of both Barry and Milner.
I was hoping for a Fabregas or a Thiago to come in. Not a 27 year old from the Ukranian League who doesn't get a look in for Brazil.

Is Reus realistic? Given that Dortmund have lost Goetze and likely to lose Lewandowski? They are Champions League finalists but the way people are talking they won't have many of the current team left when the next season starts

I'm not so sure this lad is ready to quit Dortmund just yet. Money can always open the door but like Kaka, if a player wants to stay put, doesn't matter if the club will consider offers.
Waspish is correct, I believe Isco or Lamela fits the brief Begiristain is already working towards.
It doesn't get the board moist, but Cavani for around £50m is the biggest deal we can do this summer.
And I believe we will.

I would rather spend the whole budget to improve the creativity of the midfield instead of buying ANOTHER striker.

This guy is fecking brilliant and does all the right stuff.
A little concerned he predominantly drives through the right side of midfield, same as Yaya, and it is Barry's side which needs replacing.
This is where I see our new left winger being someone who can run all day, score goals and also not be scared to stick his foot in.
Any word on Bale?
Much as I would love it, mate, I think Madrid have the boy completely boxed off at present.
I have been told to expect a major surprise from left field, but would wager that would be more akin to a Neymar or Reus, than Bale.
They would not look to offload Tranny he earns more for Real Madrid than he has cost including his wages. He is a wet dream for them and the 2nd best footballer on the planetCraggers said:tolmie's hairdoo said:alky313 said:Any word on Bale?

If Bale was going to Madrid, they would obviously be looking to offload Tranny to fund the transfer.
I've seen links recently saying Tranny to PSG, but lets face it, if he is available, we should be busting balls to bring him in. Whether he'd want to come is a different matter.
I assume Neymar is Barca bound and has his heart set on it?
Reus is quality and also has age on his side compared to Ronaldo, but does he command the same marketing package you'd get with Ronaldo ... not sure?
